MUSEUMS

KEY SECURITY FUNCTIONS: VIDEO MONITORING OF GENERAL AREAS AND THOSE SUBJECT TO SPECIFIC RISKS • DETERRING THEFT BY VISIBLE MONITORING • CONTROLLING ACCESS BY VIDEO MONITORING AND INTERCOM • RECORDING OF IMAGES FROM ANY DESIRED LOCATIONS • MOTION DETECTION ACTIVATES CAMERA IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AREAS • EVENT REPLAY TO REVIEW IMPORTANT EVENTS •
Presentation of high-value goods in a showroom and display environment brings with it increased security risks. On the one hand a museum wishes to display their valuable goods openly to educate public and private viewers, but on the other hand they need to minimize the risk of theft as far as possible. In many cases museums find it desirable to screen customers discreetly at the entry points, using video monitoring and/or intercom functions. Additional security measures include observation of display and showcase areas and the safe, while the visible presence of an observation system will in itself serve as a deterrent against theft. There will also be a need for protection when the premises are closed, which can be met by automatic camera actuation and alarm triggering using motion detection.

You can also drag and drop one DVR from a location, and all 16 channels will open on your monitor.

In addition, the system’s automated functions provide effective security solutions when the premises are closed and unattended, for example by using the internal motion detection built in the camera or external sensors for automated camera activation and alarm functions.

Designed with the end user in mind, the touch screen, digital matrix controller makes the system extremely easy to use and simple to learn. Camera and monitor call up, preset zone setup and drag and drop map eliminate the need to remember complex keyboard and camera codes.
