WebSince the card is not broken when you replace the thermal past it doesn't count as a repair it counts as a maintenance. Neglect of the card would be running it with old thermal paste so running the card with the bad thermal paste would void the warranty. Also the warranty does NOT mention disassembly in the warranty as something to void it!
