WebThe funny thing is, with a good UI, there is no real difficulty curve. If the player can make a hole in the ground, seal it, and make some farms, then the player won't lose for, at least, 5 in-game years. The difficulty comes from putting yourself objectives, and there are a lot of players that NEED an obvious objective, which dwarf fortress lacks.
